New Year’s Eve to Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa and Milan Trip

• Arrival in Milan in the morning
• Free time to discover the city & shop in Milano. By free time it means that you can plan your day on your own how you want to spend it. Of course, we will share some tips for you. The places you should visit in Milan :

  – Milan Cathedral (The Duomo di Milano)
  – Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (luxury and world-famous shopping mall)
  – Sforzesco Castle (Castello Sforzesco)
  – The Arch of Peace (Arco della Pace)
  – Parco Sempione (close to the castle)
  – Navigli District (neighborhood known for its canals)
  – The Last Supper Portrait ( Da Vinci’s one of the most famous artworks, you need to book a ticket online)

• When you are in Italy you definitely should try pasta, pizza, gelato!! 
• Departure approx. ( we meet at the same location where we dropped you off) to check in at our hotel which is close to Florence
•  In the evening check at our partner hotel located close to Florence, and have some rest for tomorrow

• Breakfast at our hotel
• Transfer in the morning from our hotel to Rome.!
• Arrive in Rome around 12:30 PM. You will have free time until the evening to explore the city.
• Here are some tips on what you can visit  in Rome:
  – Colosseum: Visit this iconic ancient amphitheater. 
  – St. Peter’s Square: Explore the grand plaza located in Vatican City. If time permits, visit St. Peter’s Basilica and climb to the top for a panoramic view of Rome.
  – Trevi Fountain: Make a wish at this famous Baroque fountain. It’s a great spot for photos, especially in the late afternoon when the light is softer.
  – Spanish Steps: Climb these renowned steps for a great view and photo opportunities. Nearby, you can also find the Keats-Shelley Memorial House, a small museum dedicated to the Romantic poets.
  – Piazza Venezia: Visit this central hub of Rome, featuring the impressive Altare della Patria. From here, you can easily walk to other nearby attractions like the Roman Forum and Capitoline Hill.
  – Pantheon: Not far from Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon is a must-see. This ancient temple has been remarkably well-preserved and is free to enter.
  – Piazza Navona: Stroll through this lively square, known for its beautiful Baroque architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy a gelato or coffee at one of the outdoor cafes.
• New Year’s Eve fireworks at every corner of the city.
• Transfer to our Hotel

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• We leave the hotel in the morning and head towards Pisa.
• Excursion to Pisa, free time to take pictures by the Leaning Tower.  (2 hours)
• Heading to Florence, and an excursion with a Local Guided Tour (2 hours)
• Free time to discover Florence till evening approx.21.00

• Transfer back to Bologna to our Hotel

• Breakfast at our hotel and after that we will check out
• Head to our last stop: Venice
• Boat transfer from Tronchetto to Venice and back.
• Tips about Venice – Free time to discover the city.
  Venice is one of Europe’s most popular destinations, having a few hours to spend there we would suggest some top sights which are located in San Marco which is the touristy heart of Venice and home to Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Square, and the Rialto Bridge. Most tourists spend the majority of their time here, along with Dorsoduro (Pont dell’Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute), and San Polo.
• Visit Murano and Burano (Optional)

Note: Murano and Burano – two islands in the Venetian Lagoon. You could watch glass being blown at a Murano glass factory, see historical cathedrals on admire exquisite handmade lace on Burano. This is a great way to see more than just the central sights of Venice and enjoy a cruise on the water.

• Heading back to Germany and Netherlands

• Arrival in Germany and Netherlands in the morning
